Stressed Out? 20 Ways to De-Stress Quickly

For the past couple of days life has been hitting me hard and I’ve been feeling stressed out. Mainly because I’ve been thinking about all the things I have to do to better my life, and all of the things that are currently going wrong when it comes to my life goals, and negative thoughts in general. That kind of thinking is not helpful whatsoever.

Typically I’m a pretty happy person but sometimes when I’m in a bad mood I have to remind myself that’s it’s only temporary and that I need to destress. And I know I’m not the only one that feels that way, so I put together a list of 20 things that I do along with some things that I will try in the future in order to relieve some stress.

20 Ways to De-Stress

1. Meditate.

2. Go for a walk.

3. Listen to calming music.

4. Do yoga.

5. Take a bath.

6. Take a nap.

7. Read a book.

8. Exercise.

9. Play with your pets.

10. Sit in nature.

11. Breathe deeply.

12. Write in a journal.

13. Talk to a friend.

14. Take a social media break.

15. Color in a coloring book.

16. Declutter your environment.

17. Light some candles.

18. Watch your favorite shows.

19. Do your nails.

20. Practice gratitude.
